Here is another recipe that was made because I found it fun to say Pastrami and Salami after one another. I said, "Pastrami Salami," at the grocery store and immediately went to work on making a sandwich just so I would be able to say it comically over and over! So if you are looking for a tasty sandwich that is also a ton of fun to say aloud, then make this yummy guy now! Just don't talk with your mouth full!

Ingredients:
Sandwich
4 slices turkey pastrami
10 1/4 inch salami nuggets
1 1/4 inch slice red onion (Juliane and then cut in half)
1/4 green bell pepper (Juliane)
3 tbsp artichoke hearts in oil (chopped)
1 tbsp fresh basil (diced)
2 tsp white truffle oil
fresh crack pepper (to taste)
2 pinches garlic salt
1 pinch smoked paprika
2 deli Swiss slices
2 100% whole wheat then buns

Sauce
1 tsp sweet hot mustard
2 tbsp mayonnaise
fresh crack pepper (to taste)

Sauce
Mix together all sauce ingredients in a small bowl and sit to side until ready to use.

Sandwich
Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Once oil is heated cook onions, bell pepper, pastrami, salami, garlic salt and paprika for 7 minutes stirring often. Now add the basil, artichoke and crack pepper, continuing to cook for 3 more minutes. Remove mixture from heat and separate out meat and vegetables.

(While filling is cooking toast buns at 375 degrees for 2 minutes, remove top buns and spread desired amount of sauce on to it. On the bottom buns add slice of Swiss to each and continue to toast until cheese begins to melt.)

Place five slices of salami onto each bottom bun with the melted Swiss (this helps keep the salami in place.) Spread 1/2 of vegetables over both sandwiches, top with 2 slices of pastrami and top bun. Serve hot with chips, fries or veggies.
