This is a dip I like to toss together at low key get togethers like the super bowl. Something that is easy to mix up but taste great scooping on to chips and crackers. Enjoy my party dip!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup blue cheese (crumbled)
2 tbsp aged sharp cheddar (shredded)
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1-2 jalapenos (seeded, diced)
2 tbsp red onion (diced)
1 green onion (diced)
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 tbsp fresh cilantro
1/8 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp butter
Heat butter in a small frying pan over medium heat. Once melted saute red onion, garlic and jalapeno for 7-10 minutes. Once sauteed pour mixture into bowl and fold in all ingredients until mixed well. Garnish with a little fresh cilantro, serve warm or cold with tortilla chips or crackers and enjoy.
