I finally got the right meat for a Grilled London Broil! After purchasing 5-6 top round steaks mislabeled as London broils I finally found a properly labeled flank steak! So after a long long wait here is the recipe I have been wanting to make! Enjoy!
Ingredients
4 lbs flank steak
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1/4 tsp kosher salt
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp fresh crack pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
In a small bowl mix together all ingredients except steak until even. Diamond pattern score both sides of steak and rub mixture into both sides of meat. Place meat into a sealable container and refrigerate 5-10 hours flipping meat every few hours.
Preheat grill to high heat.
Turn heat to medium and place meat on the lower grill rack. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes, flip and cook for another 4-6 minutes, remove and cover with aluminium foil letting rest for 5 minutes.
Slice serve hot and enjoy!
